In the last incarnation, I had used the turret resource originally developed by Paul Dana, with some custom modifications. I was about follow suit again and port the resouce to T3D, but then I thought of improving my method.

The road behind and the road ahead. I can't believe it has been almost 11 months since I last posted. Well I guess I should explain some things. I have been for the most part by my self in developing this game. Early on I added some people who wanted to "help" me with this game and that didn't end well...

I remember almost all of my teachers since kindergardten and some of them were very fun, others were really boring but each of them leaves something into us. The tutorial system for Warscale is not the best but if people finish the tutorial mission and are able to grasp the game basics then I consider I have succceeded.

I recently implemented unit-to-unit collisions in Orcs vs. Martians. Units now walk around each other, rather than thru each other. It works great...most of the time! Still has some rough spots. Video included.

I have been using the T3D web deployment to make a facebook game. There is very little documentation for facebook or for T3D in the areas I am working in, so it's been an adventure.

The first HUD gui element I worked on after the crosshairs for the tank controls was the radar. I actually still like the look and feel that I wanted in the old version, but was unable to attain satisfactory.
