Another Full Time Indie...

by Tim Newell · 06/19/2006 (7:02 pm) · 12 comments

Well on June 9th I quit my day job of being a Programmer Analyst at a Mental Health Center to become a full time Indie Game Programmer for MaxGaming Technologies (MGT). Today however is the big day as I just got back from vacation so its time to get to work and have lots of fun. This of course isn't my first day of Game programming. Many of you have known me since the day the Torque Engine (V12 then) came out. Since 2001 I have been struggling with trying to become fulltime and tried many things on my own including cell phone and PDA games. While I made some money they did not sell well enough to make it fulltime. This past year I have been working in my part time as a MGT programmer to bring out an exciting puzzle game and now at the end of this project I finally get my life's dream of my day job as an indie. Well thats enough rambling for now.. Time for work.

Until next time...
