I'm glad to see the project is still alive and moving forward! This is one of the best exporters available for DTS models and you've done a fabulous job maintaining and supporting it! I'm also sorry to see that it is moving off-site, but I can understand your feelings with the forum consolidation and chance of Blender exporter related topics getting buried in the flow of the artist forum.

I'm not sure I understand why the forums have been removed from GG?! It seems weird to fracture the community like this, instead of one place... we now have to go to many.

I only just found out about Joseph's site, and it's a treasure-trove! So kudos to him, and I hope everyone visits to make it popular. :)

My thanks to you Joseph for your continuing hard work on the BLENDER 3D EXPORTER! I agree with starting new forums to help keep the indie dream ongoing, only problem is having the info spread across several forums instead of just one, thus breaking the community instead of branching it.

Even if GG's wishes are to weed out us "dreamers" with the coming of T3D, for the moment TGEA still remains ours, and for that reason we need to stay unified to continue work we've begun with TGEA.

Sid.

hmm..forget about it fracturing the community. It fractured the support. Heavily.

Good work on the documentation Joseph. I've discovered a load of actions I didn't realise could be done - and you've explained it in a fairly idiot-proof manner (which always helps!)

I meant that towards the "forum consolidation". Sorry for the double post

Thank you for the great job you're doing with the Blender DTS Exporter.

Another shot in GG's own foot... Thanks a lot Joseph for keeping that project alive!

Who's hosting TDN? Anybody...?

Good news Joseph !

The question is WHY GG doesn't want to have these forum back ?

Thank you for the link.

Thanks a whole lot Joseph. I really appreciate all of your hardwork and effort in maintaining a viable DTS exporter for those of us who don't/can't/won't use the "high end" tools.

Blender + DTS Exporter was the best thing for indies since... well, since GarageGames was created.

This is pretty sad. There was a lot of useful information in those posts, and to see that Blender users will no longer be able to use GarageGames to properly coordinate efforts is quite disheartening.

Yeah, GG have seriously fuxxored the forums by stirring a bunch of them together; now a ton of info is completely out of context. Anyway, old news...

Joseph, thank you very much for making sure the Blender Exporter is still receiving solid support. I second Michael Hall's comment: "...Blender + DTS Exporter was the best thing for indies since..."

Aw, man.

Anyway - I've signed up for your forums, but I haven't gotten an email yet.

I have been using Blender and the exporters for... uh, I guess it would be "years" now. I'm not up-to-date on the latest version of Blender or the latest exporter, but that's only a matter of time.

I really appreciate your work on it. The latest version I *did* get has been working like a charm... which is part of the reason I haven't upgraded in a while. I'm sad that GG hasn't felt it fit to continue their community support for the project - which makes no sense at all to me. But I am glad you found it a home. Count me in!
