Plan for Jeff Ward

Well, Bloob! did not make student showcase. I'm waiting for reviews to come back from the judges to see the overall impression of the game. The only thing I really don't want to see is that they thought it was too hard to understand. If I do see that, I will freak out and go on a rampage. :) I (personally) think if you give the game enough time, you're able to understand it pretty well, but in my expereience, most people don't anyway.
So moving on.... plans have changed (which is why I'm updating my .plan :)) The two Director projects are still on (since I have to do them anyway) but they may increase in scale to have them submitted to student showcase again next year (I'm not going to submit the same game damn it, that's just cheap). Hopefully Director supports everything I want to do with it. That's all I have to say. The Torque game may be delayed. Though I *might* have the money to buy Torque, that will leave me with very little and I'm not sure what might come up durring the year. Furthermore, it will leave me with near no money to get the CVS server up and working (I need at least one new hard drive). If this changes, I'll let you know.
I will definately continue development on GCS (with more vigor now actually) and my tutorial on MFC made hard, so look for those soon. First things first though, JWRuby needs to be tightened to allow some more advanced features and to speed up call times for integration with the GCS. Also, GUI handling needs to be fixed as does sound streaming. So much to do, only a year until I graduate.
On top of that, my thesis begins soon. Ever try to develop a notation? It ain't easy :)
