The 10 step plan to leave your native land....

1) Figure out where you are going to go
2) Plan out what you are going to do
3) Get your planned activities started before you leave
4) Get medical checkups (use your insurance before you loose it!)
5) Figure out the forms, paperwork, etc needed to immigrate
6) Quit your job
7) Sell all your stuff: toys, furniture, cars, houses.
8) Give everything else away
9) Throw a big party
10) Leave.

So where are you traveling to? Sounds exciting, no matter what! Andrew's right though, you should have ditched the NW in November! :-)

I'm moving to thailand, so it'll definatly be some fun in the sun, and yeah, pics of the party of course! just none of me in compromising situations ;)

It's not a party if you don't end up in a compromising situation... and if you have decent friends they'll have a camera or 3.

Based on my personal experience, I'd move step 6 to number 9. :-)

heh, good advice paul, i was thinking about that too, but i have too much to do.. if i put off the job leaving till last, i will never leave :P
