Servers or map pack?

Just purchased an Imac G5 .
Downloaded and installed Orbz ( been playing for 2 years now and greatly addicted)
All works well except the following :
V4 Map pack loading when I am playing in a public server but not host. If I happen to be the host , some of these maps will not load .
When in my own server......these maps will all load if I am the only one there.
As soon as 2 or more join my server ...... some of the maps will not load .
This also happened tonight with another player who was testing his server with the map pack for me. ( also uses Imac with G5)
First few loaded just fine and we played them ............then nothing would load .
Any suggestions ? .............

BTW, I would suggest not installing the 10.4.3 update that just came out if you want to keep playing Orbz. At least if my experience a little bit ago is any evidence. See the thread on TIger issues I just started, particularly the point about shot control (mouse button). Going to reboot now to see if that clears it up (though I'm not expecting it to). If it is indeed as messed up as it appears, my Orbz days are over until the fixes get put in. (And this fix is urgent, IMO, if it persists and is repeatable with others who have opdated.)

Is it only the course pack levels that don't load properly?
Richard, your clue about Divine Garden not loading in a regular 21-6 Server led me to check out a theory. Apparently, if I have the course pack installed and I am the host in a 21-6 Server, I can still select a custom course from the pack. That should not be possible since the server does not have those courses installed. Of course, if I try to start a game on one of the custom courses - it won't load.

The problems I have had are not with the regular 21-6 servers but with the passworded servers that play the V4 mappack .
There are several of these maps that will not load for other players when I am hosting ( Divine Garden is one)
nor will they load for me unless someone else hosts.
Very strange indeedy !
Will NOT upgrade and install any Mac updates as it would be most devastating to not be able to play Orbz at all!!!

After we got off the other night, I tried the fix at http://www.darkhorizons-lore.com/forum_viewtopic.php?27.9609 for the sound and that worked. But I don't expect it to work for the mappack issues (but I'm ignorant of what OpenAL does too).
I also noticed when Theo was hosting in the regular mappack servers that Divine Garden wouldn't load. Don't know if that's related.
Going to post some broader Tiger issues in a separate thread.
