Does anyone know if earforce 5.1 works with torque's sound?

I guess the real question is can we control sound on 6.1 channels with torque?
Front/rear/center/sub?

Does it matter - or you just use the 3d sound in torque and it will handle puttings sounds on front/rear/center?

How do you have a front speaker on a headset?

With 5.1 surround the channels are discreetly handled as seperate sources. It doesn't necessarily mean that the output has to be in different spaces (although that is the general idea.) So it could simply be two speakers in each earpiece (four speakers total), handling four different inputs (FL FR SL SR) and the LFE and Center would be stereo center (ie mono, handled equally by all speakers.) Frankly it sounds like a nice practice, I imagine that clunky thing that attaches to it utilizes some simple algorithms to transfom true 5.1 surround to the new faux 4.2 surround output by the headphones to sound like 5.1 still. I'd have to hear it though...

[edit] what I'm wondering is where you got 6.1 from, the site clearly states 5.1 several times. unless you misread the 6 analog channels as meaning 6 channels plus LFE.
