I can't see how this is relevant for the SDK, and I would also guess that that would be a personal perference. They do mostly the same, but are different on some areas.

I am already using torision, and pretty comfortable with it. but what does torqueDev/Codeweaver has different. whats the pro and cons. To me Torsion looks like the better app. but the real question is what has its advantage.

I prefer Codeweaver because I like its more advanced code completion and javadoc-like features.

I prefer Codweaver myself. It just felt more stable to me. Really the best thing to do is just download both and try them both out as it really is just a matter of personal preference.

For me, I think Torsion is much better!

I also go with Torsion if I have to chose between the two. But CodeWeaver is more customizable.

Look. They're both free. Try them both and decide yourself, it's not like you have to make any serious commitment to use either.

Codeweaver is by far the more powerful and customizeable of the two. However, there are parts of the interface that feel hacked and counterintuitive. Try 'em both and compare.

I like Torsion better as it feels more 'lightweight' than Codeweaver. Torsion seems to have a smaller memory footprint and the interface just feels 'crisper' to me. They're both excellent editors though.

btw, how do you change pref style later after you selected one.

Just my opinion.

I tried them both I find that Codeweaver has much greater potential than Torsion. However, it's a half-baked product, very buggy and unstable. Never had crashes with Torsion. With Codeweaver I had one the second time I had put a breakpoint. And, what the heck, is it so difficult to give the focus on the text field when I press ctrl+F for text search??? I don't think so. Until Codeweaver gets more mature, I will stick to Torsion. It's not as pretty-looking and has fewer feature (search&replace, anyone?) but at least it's rock stable and doesn't get in my way of working.Just my opinion.

If you are a cross-platform dev, Torsion will have Linux & Mac versions once complete.
