Root animation, weird spine rotation bug

I am trying to get my character to work with the stock animations, i am running into one problem though and i was wondering if someone knows how to fix it.
the character is properly rigged and weighted and i even pasted the pose the stock orc was standing in before i had to export him.
the dts file works perfectly with all the death animations, but on root/fall/jump it gets this weird rotation.

as you can see the rotation only happens in tstpro while loading those specific animations, its the spine node that gets rotated for some odd reason.
even if i key all the bones at frame 0 the odd rotation happens.
