RTS Starter Pack

I recently purchased TGE 1.5 and have been playing around with t for a while. I saw the RTS Starter pack and I wanted to play around with it. I tried to order it, but it tells me that I can't purchase it because I don't own TGE 1.4.2. Is there any way to get around this?

Although I think it's a good starting point to creating an RTS type game, the version you're paying for was developed for 1.3 of the TGE. If you wish to upgrade it to 1.5, you'll have to search the forums for the community supplied procedure. It's very straight forward and as long as you're on a PC, works well. On the Mac side, I've only been able to get it to 1.4.
The kit itself is not currently openly supported by GG
To my mind, this makes the kit overpriced.

You should be able to make the purchase now if you are still interested.

As James points out, there are community resources and procedures for Updating the RTS kit. So if you want to work in it its not a bad starting point.
Below are a couple links to a couple of post by a guys who has developed a pretty solid RTS with it, and he is not the only one.
Hope this helps.
