Blank thread topics

Does anyone know what the deal is with the blank topics? For example:
Robot Marble's recent thread

Is this a bug? I tried creating a thread and deleting a topic title but I couldn't.

I think this is what happens, but am not sure:

Step one: Create topic.
Step two: post second post in topic.
Step three: Delete first post.
Step four: Delete second (now first) post.

Blank topic.

Dave,

I tried what you mentioned above but it didn't work for me. There must be a way to do it because Robot Marble has 7 threads out of 65 this way. That makes me believe that it just isn't a fluke in the system.

Oh well. "Bug" mentioned. Now I get back to working on my game.
