TGB 1.5v3 permenantly screwed up

After playing around with the beta on a hard drive, I installed it to a memory stick because there are two computers I often move between. It worked fine the first couple of times, but then it started crashing every time I tried to start it up. A pop-up window gave the following:

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Fatal-ISV: (..\..\source\gui\core\guiCanvas.cc@218)

CreateCanvas: canvas has already been instantiated
--------------------------------------------------------------------

I rebooted, but still got the same error afterwards. I then tried uninstalling TGB altogether (from both the hard drive and the memory stick), reinstalling to the hard drive from scratch and rebooting again afterwards. I still get the same error. I am effectively unable to use TGB on this machine, and am concerned about what other effects this may be having.

Any idea what's going on and how to fix it?

Hmm, not sure but I had a similar problem but with a different error. I'm guessing that the problem is in the Documents and Settings\USER\Aplication Data\GarageGames folder. Try deleting that and then reinstalling. Let me know if it works.

Luke: I had to reinstall twice, as the first time I got an error message claiming that the program was corrupted. But after the second time, it works again.

Thanks for the help.
