Hey All,

I just purchased The Game Programmers Guide to Tourque. Before I jump in I want to know if there are any 'gotcha's I need to be aware of... particularly regarding versions. I'm running TGEA 1.8.0, and I'm concerned that the information in the book might be outdated/irrelevant in some areas because the TGE has evolved since this book was originally published...

Thoughts?..

I haven't worked with TGPGT under 1.8 yet, I did a little with 1.7 and had no problems. I can only assume as that book gets older, it will make more sense to work with the demo on the included media rather than downloading the latest engine. I find this to be true with the 3DGPAIO book. Even though I own a TGE license, when I want to cover the metods in the book, I keep a seperate install of 1.4x to work with for the book...
