Student Support?

Hi,
I've been using Torque Game Engine (1.4) since 2005, as a younger teenager, playing around with scripting and modding and so on.
I'm now looking to upgrade my tech, now I'm making better use of it. I'm excited about Torque 3D, it looks good so far, but because I'm a starving student, that $250 indie price tag is making me think twice.
As any sensible consumer does, I'm also looking at the competition and Unity3D is £30 ($50) cheaper. Now, both are expensive to me, and I really want to know, will there be support (in terms of lowered prices) for those of us that are students?
Thanks,
Matt

Just in case a future google-er stumbles on this thread, the answer is that there is a 70% discount for students belonging to a Torque university. Which isn't much help for me, my Uni doesn't use it. :( Looks like I'll have to consider Unity3D then.

Unity3D has a similar license structure, and charges more for their Pro version than T3D.

Scott, I'm not looking for any kind of pro license, I am very much restricted by my limited funds. There is an engine still in development that gives a student license for a mere $50, which I'm certainly going to look into. I'm also hoping, desperately, that Torque 2D is within my budget, but I can't see much information regarding that yet.
